Last updated: September 17, 2026

This policy explains what information Ayala Fine Art collects through this website, how it is used, who it may be shared with, and your rights regarding it. Ayala Fine Art serves visitors and clients from many countries, so this policy is written to address, where relevant, the rights of visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and California, in addition to Israeli law.

1. Who We Are

Ayala Fine Art is operated by the artist Ayala, based in Israel. For the purposes of applicable data protection law, Ayala is the controller of the personal information described in this policy — the person who decides why and how it is processed. Contact details are at the end of this page.

2. Information You Provide by Contacting Us

When you reach out by email or WhatsApp — for example to ask about a painting, request a commission, or arrange a purchase — we receive the information you choose to share, such as your name, email address, phone number, shipping address (if a purchase is arranged), and the content of your message. There is no online checkout or automated ordering system on this site; every sale and commission is arranged directly and personally with the artist by email or WhatsApp.

3. Information Collected While Browsing

This site does not use analytics or tracking tools. Like any website, the hosting service may automatically log standard technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and general access times) for security and reliability purposes — this is not collected or reviewed by Ayala Fine Art directly, and is not used to build a profile of you.

4. Local Storage

This site does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party cookies. It does use your browser's local storage — saved only on your own device — to remember two preferences: your chosen language (English/Hebrew) and your selected country and currency for viewing prices. This information is never sent to us or to any third party, is not used to track you across other websites, and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings. If this site begins using cookies or tracking tools in the future, this policy will be updated to describe them and, where required by law, your consent will be requested first.

5. Purpose & Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal information for the following purposes:

We do not use your information for automated marketing, newsletters, profiling, or advertising — none of these systems currently exist on this site.

6. Payments and Orders

This website does not process payments and has no online payment or shopping-cart system. Payment details, if and when a purchase is arranged, are handled directly between you and the artist, outside of this website, and are never collected or stored by this site.

7. Shipping

Shipping is arranged individually for each order, directly with the artist by email or WhatsApp. Any shipping address or delivery details you provide are used solely to fulfill that specific order, and may be shared with the shipping carrier chosen for that order, solely for delivery purposes.

8. Data Retention

We keep the information you send us (such as emails or WhatsApp messages) only for as long as needed to respond to you, complete an arranged order, or comply with a legal obligation (such as retaining records for tax purposes for the period required by Israeli law), whichever is longer — unless you ask us to delete it sooner and no such obligation requires us to keep it.

9. Sharing Information with Service Providers

This website loads fonts from Google Fonts, and displays currency exchange rates from a public exchange-rate service (open.er-api.com) so prices can be shown in your local currency. These are technical requests made by your browser to display the page correctly, and do not include your personal information. Beyond your email and phone provider (for messages you choose to send), a shipping carrier (only when a shipment is arranged), and the site's hosting service, we do not share your information with any marketing, analytics, or advertising companies, because we do not use such services. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

10. International Data Transfers

Because Ayala Fine Art operates from Israel and serves visitors worldwide, information you send us may be processed in Israel and, where a service provider mentioned above (such as our hosting provider or Google Fonts) operates internationally, in other countries as well. Israel is recognized by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of data protection for transfers from the EEA. Where information is transferred to a country without such a recognition, we rely on the service provider's own standard safeguards for international transfers.

11. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect any information shared with us. However, no method of electronic communication or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Children's Privacy

This Site and its services are intended for adults capable of making purchases and commissions, and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

13. Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers offer a 'Do Not Track' signal. Because this Site does not use tracking technologies in the first place, there is currently no tracking for such a signal to disable, and the Site does not respond differently to it.

14. Automated Decision-Making

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects concerning you. Every inquiry, order, and commission is reviewed and decided personally by the artist.

15. Your General Rights

Wherever you are located, you may ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop being contacted, by emailing us at the address below.

16. Rights for EEA, UK & Swiss Visitors (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, in addition to the rights above, applicable data protection law (such as the GDPR) gives you the right to: request confirmation of whether we process your data and access a copy of it; request rectification of inaccurate data; request erasure of your data in certain circumstances; request restriction of processing in certain circumstances; object to processing based on our legitimate interests; and request data portability, where technically feasible. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

17. Rights for California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect about you and why, to request deletion of your personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. As stated above, we do not sell personal information, so there is no 'right to opt out of sale' to exercise. You may exercise these rights by contacting us at the address below.

18. How to Exercise Your Rights & Complaints

To exercise any of the rights described in this policy, please email us at the address below. We will respond within a reasonable time and, where required by applicable law, within the time limit that law specifies. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your own country, in addition to, or instead of, contacting us.

19. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example as the website's features change. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest update. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
